2023 Season

 

Q: WHAT DO I NEED TO REGISTER FOR AN EVENT?

A: All players need to have a completed AGT Profile. It's easy and free. Players can register for their profile at any time at: agt.golfgenius.com. On Feb 15th, at noon CST the Series registration will open. Players will need to log in with their AGT Profile and register for the event of their choosing.

Q: WHAT IS THE REFUND POLICY?

A: If you cancel outside 30 days of your event, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel within 30 days of your event, a refund will be given only if we can fill your spot from a team on the wait list. 

Q: CAN I PLAY IN MORE THAN ONE EVENT?

A: Yes, you can play in as many events as you wish

Q: CAN I REPLACE MY PARTNER IF HE/SHE CAN NO LONGER PLAY?

A: Yes. You can replace your partner by emailing support@amgolftrips.com and making the request. For the National Championship, you can replace a partner, but only with a player that has played in a Series qualifier.

Q: DO I NEED A VERIFIED HANDICAP TO REGISTER?

A: No, our events are open to all golfers. However to place in our Net division, a verifiable USGA handicap will be required and confirmed by our team.


Q: HOW WILL MY AMATEUR STATUS BE AFFECTED?

A: You may opt out of the prizes that will negate your amateur status.

Q: WHAT DOES MY REGISTRATION FEE COVER?

A: Each tournament fee includes golf with carts, food and beverage, a team Swag Box that includes 2 headcovers, and other partner tee gifts.

Q: IS THERE AN AGE REQUIREMENT?

A: Yes, all participants must be 21+ at the time of the tournament. All participants will be asked to show a valid ID upon on-site registration.

Q: ARE SPECTATORS ALLOWED?

A: No, the venues hosting us are not equipped to handle spectators. However friends and family can follow the live action leaderboards posted on each event's portal

Q: WHICH TEES WILL BE PLAYED?

A: The following is a general range of yardages and are subject to change based on the venues:

  • Men: 6,500 - 6,800
  • Women: 5,800 - 6,300
  • Men 55+: 6,000 - 6,400
  • Women 55+: 5,500 - 5,800

Q: WHAT HAPPENS IN THE CASE OF A TIE?

Q: WHAT IS THE DAILY ITINERARY FOR THE EVENTS?

A: Most events are shotgun starts, with either breakfast or lunch before or after golf. Players can check in, hit the range and prepare for the day. Upon completion of the round, the Swag Putting Contest will take place. A complete event itinerary will be included with the event pairings.

Q: WHEN AND WHERE IS THE 2023 CHAMPIONSHIP?

A: The 2023 National Championship will be hosted at Big Cedar Lodge. A welcome party/round will be on October 22nd at Mountain Top. Round 1 will be hosted at Ozarks National on October 23rd and the final round will take place on Payne's Valley on October 24th. Awards will be presented on the 19th hole at Payne's Valley.

Q: WHAT ARE THE EVENT PRIZE POOLS?

A: The following prize payouts are for each qualifier:

  • 1st place: Team Entry to National Championship hosted at Big Cedar Lodge
  • 2nd place $800 Visa Gift Card ($400 per player)
  • 3rd place: $400 Visa Gift Card ($200 per player)
  • Players are responsible for their own travel and lodging for ALL events

Q: WHAT IS THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP PRIZE POOL?

A: The National Championship prize pool is TBD and will be made up of visa gift cards, partner gifts and more!
